1. Who this policy covers

JM Forge operates technology solutions, software subscriptions, data and research tools, APIs, automation, monitoring, and professional services from Massachusetts, United States. This policy applies to information processed through jm-forge.com, the JM Forge Client Portal, and JM Forge services unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use JM Forge, we may process:

• Account and identity information: name, username, email address, organization information, authentication status, and account preferences.
• Commercial and service information: selected plan, orders, subscription status, project briefs, support requests, and communications.
• Usage and technical information: product activity, execution metadata, timestamps, IP address, browser or device information, logs, security events, and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the service.
• Billing records: transaction identifiers, invoices, subscription status, payment status, and related accounting records. Payment-card details are handled through Stripe-hosted payment flows and are not intended to be stored directly by JM Forge.
• Data you provide for a product or service: inputs, files, URLs, identifiers, business data, configuration, and other information you choose to submit for processing.

3. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the requested product, subscription, project, API, or service.
• Authenticate users, maintain sessions, recover accounts, and protect access.
• Process orders, subscriptions, invoices, and billing administration.
• Provide support, respond to requests, and communicate about service activity.
• Detect abuse, fraud, security issues, reliability problems, and operational errors.
• Measure service performance and improve functionality, quality, and usability.
• Maintain records and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations.

4. Service providers and integrations

JM Forge uses service providers when they are needed to deliver or protect the service. Current launch infrastructure may include Stripe for payment processing and subscription management, Cloudflare for network and anti-bot security, Resend for transactional email, hosting and infrastructure providers, and Apify when a JM Forge product or workflow uses Apify infrastructure. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

We may also connect to third-party services at a customer's request. The information shared with an integration is limited to what is reasonably needed for that integration or workflow.

5. Research, monitoring, and public-source data

Some JM Forge products process public-source, business, technical, marketplace, regulatory, or user-supplied information. Public availability does not remove a customer's responsibility to use data lawfully and appropriately. Results may be incomplete, delayed, changed by the source, or unsuitable for decisions that require independent verification.

6. Cookies and local storage

JM Forge uses essential browser storage and cookies when needed for authentication, session security, preferences, and reliable operation. As of the effective date of this policy, JM Forge does not describe or operate a targeted-advertising cookie program on the public site. If analytics or non-essential tracking is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.

7. How we share information

We may share information with service providers, integrations selected by the customer, professional advisers, or authorities when reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect users, enforce agreements, or comply with law. JM Forge does not operate a business that intentionally sells customer personal information for money.

8. Retention

Retention depends on the information and service involved. Account and service records may be kept while an account or commercial relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Billing, tax, security, audit, and contractual records may be retained for longer when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or compliance purposes. Deleted data may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups rotate.

9. Security

JM Forge uses technical and organizational controls intended to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss. Controls include protected account access, server-side handling of technical secrets, scoped access, secure payment boundaries, logging, and operational monitoring where applicable. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information about how personal information is used. You may also update certain account or billing information through the Client Portal or Stripe-hosted billing portal when available.

11. International processing

JM Forge is operated from the United States and uses providers that may process information in the United States and other countries. Where applicable, processing is subject to the safeguards and legal requirements relevant to the service and provider.

12. Children

JM Forge services are intended for business and professional use and are not directed to children under 18. Do not submit a child's personal information unless the service and applicable law clearly permit it and appropriate authorization exists.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as products, providers, legal requirements, or operating practices change. The updated date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
